Yelena Zhelezov

Yelena Zhelezov is a Belarusian-Israeli artist  based in Los Angeles.  She is interested of filmic image, language, and anthropomorphizing objects. Some of her works are carefully researched, and other are accidental.

Yelena Zhelezov holds an MFA from CalArts. She has shown work at various spaces around Los Angeles and internationally, including  Museum of Jurassic Technology, Materials and Applications, LACMA, IkoIko Space, the Hammer Museum, and the National Centre for Contemporary Arts in Yekatirenburg, Russia.

Zhelezov serves on the  Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission of West Hollywood, and is a recepient of the 2011-2013 Six Points Fellowship.
